      <Abstract>The study of deep beams with openings in their webs and how to reinforce them is crucial for ensuring strong and effective structures. This collection of research examines various aspects of the topic, including the use of externally bonded composites and fiber-reinforced polymers (FRP). The studies carefully investigate the failure mechanisms of these beams, their response to loads and deflections, improvements in their shear capacity, and the effects of the size and placement of the openings. Collectively, these studies provide valuable insights into the reinforcement of deep beams, contributing to the overall knowledge in structural engineering.</Abstract>
