      <Abstract>The objective of the present study was to evaluate muscle activities while performing deadlift with or without lifting straps. Ultimately, the finding from the present study was intended to be used for the use of lifting straps in weight training by examining its usefulness. Since the lifting strap wraps the bar with a string and holds the grip, it allows lifting more weight than one can lift. If the weight exceeds the limit, the bar wrapped with the lifting strap is suspended from the arm that is being pulled by the lifting strap. Therefore, it was speculated that the triceps of the supporting arm was more activated.</Abstract>
